Attorneys for the Rights of the Child
An international network of attorneys now addresses the multi-faceted issue of male genital mutilation, euphemistically termed circumcision. Attorneys for the Rights of the Child (ARC) is a non-profit organization founded to secure equal protection for, and broaden judicial and public recognition of, children's inherent legal and human rights to physical integrity and self-determination, regardless of gender. The medical profession, in particular, has perpetuated the tragic disfigurement of baby boys' genitals and will be challenged by an organization of legal professionals whom they cannot afford to ignore.

Doctors Opposing Circumcision (D.O.C.)

A nonprofit educational organization with the purpose of informing the public and professionals about the practice of circumcision.  The Center is a valuable source of information for parents and children's advocates; childbirth educators and allied professionals; medical, mental health, and academic people; Jews; and others.

INTACT
Intact's purpose is to end non-therapeutic male infant circumcision. Intact works to this end through increased public awareness, legislation, and litigation. Intact also seeks to have male infant circumcision internationally recognized as a human rights violation. Intact offers a video of a circumcision that any parent considering circumcision for their child should see.

The International Coalition for Genital Integrity
The International Coalition for Genital Integrity is an alliance of organizations dedicated to protecting the normal anatomy of males, females and the intersexed, and supporter of the Genital Integrity Resolution. ICGI was formed to coalesce the many activist organizations, each with a specific focus, into one, common voice. Added to them are organizations and companies who also agree that every human has a right to a whole and intact body. Nurses for the Rights of the Child
Nurses for the Rights of the Child is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the rights of infants and children to bodily integrity. It was founded in June, 1995 by a group of nurses who had become R.N. Conscientious Objectors to infant circumcision at St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe, New Mexico. They seek to protect unconsenting infants and children from surgical alterations of their healthy genitals.

The Ridged Band
These Web pages are based on established anatomy and unpublished functional studies. The authors aim to generate some interest in the foreskin, what it is and what it does. “RIDGED BAND” is the name given recently by Canadian medical researchers to a unique part of the human male foreskin (prepuce).    John R. Taylor, MB, MRCPEd, FRCPC and Harry Meislahn are responsible for the site content. Dr. Taylor is the co-author of two anatomical studies of the prepuce; he and his colleagues first described the ridged band in the British Journal of Urology in 1996.
